Resources and Tools

Basic tools mentioned all over this website are domains, hosting, autoresponder, keyword research etc. Here is a list of my favorite tools:

Domains:

Name Cheap: My favorite, usually my first choice:

Click here to visit Name Cheap. If you are going to use search engine optimization to generate free traffic to your site then you can also use their hosting. It comes plain with no advertising coupons.

Hosting:

I’ll list them here arranged by easiness to build a website, mobile friendliness (now part of bg G’s algos ;-)) and SEO friendliness. I don’t think you need me to state it here but here it is just to comply with the law: I am an affiliate and this is what I do for living, most of the links below pay me commission for referrals. There are other companies that pay me even more, but I didn’t list them here because they are just pain in you-know-what in terms of customer service and up time (which hurts your search engine ranking).

Sitey:

The easiest to set up, mobile friendly, and if you don’t want to build a wordpress blog and use the SEO plugins they have an equivalent in place.

iPage:

The best deal on hosting ever: You get $200 in advertising coupons to spend with Google Adwords, Facebook, and Bing ads.

iPage Plan on sale only $2.25 – Unlimited Disk Space, Unlimited Transfer, Unlimited E-mails & Site building tools.

Hostgator: Used to be one of the best around. Not too bad currently.

Click here and use this coupon code: MO101BLOGMONEYPOST

iPage: New and very cheap. Uses “Weebly” website builder for ease and speed. Comes with a free domain for the first year.

Autoresponders:

GetResponse: One of the best in terms of pricing, performance, and ease of use.

Keyword Research:

The keyword tools are not very accurate, and most of the time you need to use your own judgement. I use google keywod tool and ajax.
